Mr. Beverage was a livestock farmer. He was a member of Monterey United Methodist Church. He was an avid flower gardener who took great pride in showing the garden to area groups. Also evident was the hospitality he graciously shared with the bird-watching community. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II; he served in the Pacific Theater.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Seybert and James Beverage, and two sisters, Virginia Beverage and Rebecca Mohney. He is survived by three brothers, Nicholas Beverage of Monterey, Dr. John Harmon Beveridge of Nashville and Charles Byron Beverage of Richmond; a sister, Lucinda Hiner Beverage of Monterey; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a special friend, Peggy Hiner of Monterey.
