llena B. McCurley, 80, of Pensacola died early Sunday morning in a local hospital. She was a native of Alabama and had resided in Pensacola for the past 50 years. She was a member of the Bellview Baptist Church and the Friendship Sunday School class, a past member of the Women's Missionary Society, a member of Senior Citizen Fellowship Group and a retired employee of the Escambia County school system. Survivors include two daughters, Myrlene Kersey and Rose Hoyt; a son, W. Burl McCurley; a sister, Nuna B. Flowers; two brothers, Johnny G. Burleson and James Burleson; and 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
