Born January 6, 1916 in Lost City, the daughter of Daniel and Ella (Johnson) Keener, Mrs. Shade died Saturday, April 1, 1986, at Tahlequah City Hospital.
She attended Hulbert schools, was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Indian Baptist Church. Three children preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Carl, of the home; two sons, Dan Hayes of Bixby and Louie Hayes of Wagoner; four daughters, Mary Young, Vi Spencer and Sue Botts, all of Hulbert and Debbie Jackson of Wagoner; a brother Mitchell Pann of Kiefer; 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
