Retired Flower Shop Owner WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Mildred Hayman DeLoach, 93, of 844 Liberty St., entered into rest, Sunday, June 8, 2008, at Burke Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at Rosemont Heights Baptist Church, with Rev. Keith Alderman, Rev. Richard Daniels, Rev. Wayne Dixon, and Rev. Marshall Singletary officiating. Entombment will be at the Burke Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. on the day of the service. Mrs. DeLoach was a native of Bryan County, Ga. She moved to Waynesboro in 1935 with her husband, G. Pratt DeLoach where they began a career in the funeral profession and the florist business for over 60 years. She was active in the Club of Little Gardens of Waynesboro, and many other civic affairs. She loved the flower business and was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by one son, George L. DeLoach (Jane), of Waynesboro; four granddaughters, Deborah D. Mobley (Jimmy), of Waynesboro; Laura D. Mobley (Bill), of Evans, Ga; Cynthia D. Armes (Martin) of Raleigh, NC; Mildred D. Mobley (Stan), of Augusta; eleven great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Active Pallbearers will be Jack Brantley, Bobby Boswell, Hugh Scott, Lon Hankinson, Harry Weathers, Billy Hopper, Bo Cochran, Roy H. Marchman, Craig Kennedy, Bobby Jones, Kenneth James, Dr. B. Lamar Murray, Dr. Bobby Fulcher, and Luther Beason. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Sunshine Sunday School Class, of Rosemont Heights Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to "Follow the Vision" Building Fund of Rosemont Heights Baptist Church, 710 Stone St., Waynesboro, Ga. 30830.
