Husband of Sarah Coulter Davis and Mary Ann Burke Davis. Father of James Alexander Davis, Hetty C. Davis, Sarah Davis, Mary "Mollie" Davis, Electa Davis, Perthena Davis, Hannah Davis, John Edward DavisJacob Davis and Della Mae Davis.

OBIT:

DAVIS - Wm. B. Davis was born in Virginia, June 3, 1820, died March 3, 1894; aged seventy-three years and nine months.

He had been married twice, first to Sarah Coulter, afterwards to Mary A. Burk. The fruits of these marriages was ten children, all still living. there are now living thirty-seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. His testimony on his dying bed was that he was ready to meet God in peace, and his last request to his wife and family was for them to meet him in a better world.

Funeral services at the residence, in Winchester, conducted by S. S. Hinshaw. Interment at Maxville Cemetery.
