Sarah was the daughter of Adam Moderwell. She married Thomas Robinson about 1805 in Lancaster County, PA. They had at least six children: Adam Patterson Robinson, Sarah J Robinson (Pollock), James Dixon Robinson, Thomas Robinson Jr, John Moderwell Robinson and Alexander C Robinson.
