Sever Injury: He has been more or less crippled since sufeerfulfering with an attack of
infantiile paralysis several years ago, but always took his affliction in good part and
outwardly appeared happy and cheerful, although it was generally known that he
suffered greatly at times.

Cause of Death: He was struck with lightning while working as a engineer
with a threshjug crew on the Albert Kleinsmith farm, located on Amsterdam, Prairie.

Funeral Service: Held Monday, October 13th at 1:30 pm. from the home and
at 2:00 pm. from the New Amsterdam Presbyterian Church, Revarand Clark
of La Crosse officiating and undertaker A. O. Jostad in charge.

Pall Bearers were Wm. Cass, Wm. Vander Pan, Charles Van Loon, Harry Westerhouse,
Daniel La Fleur and Ross La Fluer

Interment: Green Mound Cemetery
