ZANESVILLE – Kenneth N. McCoy, 90, of 832 Merrick Avenue, died at 7:15 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 1993, at Adams Lane Care Center. Born July 20, 1902, in Sistersville, W. Va., he was a retired Electrician for the Old Columbia Cement Company, where he had worked for 40 years. He was a member of the Norval Park Church of Christ, where he had served as an elder for 17 years and a deacon for many years. Surviving are his second wife, Virginia F. Staggs McCoy, whom he married Aug. 5, 1951; one daughter, Molly Tharp, of Hopewell; two sisters, Katharine Bishop of Newark, and Helen Stalter of Grove City, Fla.; one grandson; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Homer and Mary Etta Lasher McCoy; and his first wife, Jemima James McCoy, Jan. 1951. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today, April 4, at Bolin Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, April 5; at the funeral home with Ministers Ron Owens and Lester Hurst officiating. Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Norval Park Church of Christ.
