WILMAR -- Kenneth "Buddy" Neal, 80, of Wilmar died Tuesday, April 19, at Baptist Health Medical Center at North Little Rock.
Born in Poinsett County, he was a retired World War II Navy veteran and of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Dennis Neal of Wilmar; three brothers, Doug Gill and Herchel Gill, both of Poughkeepsie, and Harvey Oakley Gill of Delano, Calif.; and a sister, Beatrice Cheshier of Crystal City.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Spencer and Nettie Gill Neal.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bethel Baptist Church, with the Rev. R.V. White officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. in Balch-Johnson Cemetery in Jackson County. Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home of Monticello is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be David Craig, Randy Glennon, Darren Eubanks, Short Garner, Mark Eubanks and Van Brown.
