Robert Long Adams B. Cincinnati Ohio. 25 November 1834. Attended Hanover College in Indiana, after which he was graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary in 1862. He was licensed to preach in 1862, and then ordained for Presbyterian ministry in 1863 by the Presbytery of Madison Ohio. He served as pastor of a Presbyterian congregation in Ohio(1863-1866). Then he served as pastor at a two-point parish in the churches in Summit and Long Grove, Iowa from 1866-1868. In 1906 he left the state of Iowa. He was honorably retired in Minnesota.
