In 1955 Lambert and his wife, Julia came to the United States as immigrants and in 1962 started dairy farming in California. For the past 27 years, he resided in New Mexico and continued dairy farming.
Lambert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Julia; two sons, Gary Bonestroo and wife Wendy; Bruce Bonestroo and wife Tanya; eight grandchildren, Gage, Tara Gavin Lexy, Jayne, Julia, Joseph and Jan. Also surviving him are four sisters and one brother, all living in Holland.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at University Presbyterian Church, 2010 Wisconsin Ave. Officiating will be Pastor John Pickett. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery.
