Bennie Nave, 83, Route 1, Athens, died Tuesday at a local hospital.
The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Sardis Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. Calvin Inman and the Rev. Bob White officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery with Limestone Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Nave was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clara Mae Nave; three sons, Hollis Nave, Junior Nave and Edgar Nave, all of Athens; a daughter, Margaret Prichard of Tennessee; a brother, Ernest Nave of Athens; a sister, Minnie Mitchell of Athens; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
