He was the son of Henry Jackson and Frances Victoria (Wilberforce) Arnold. He served in the United States Army in Japan for three years and three years in the Panama Canal. He served on the Hartshorne Housing Authority Board from December 1999 to November 2002, as housing tenant commissioner, in the Green Thumb program from March 2000 to February 2003 and the International Brotherhood of Electricians IBEW Union #1002 of Tulsa. Survivors include two sons, Frankie Arnold, Bennie Arnold; a number of grandchildren; one sister, Hermeda "Sam" Kahler; one brother, Carl Arnold, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Charles "Dougie" Arnold. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, at Northtown Cemetery, McAlester with Chaplain T. J. Willingham officiating. Burial will be at Northtown Cemetery in McAlester, under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of Hartshorne.
