"Beneath this stone reposes the ashes of Mrs. Aminta E. Moxley, who departed this life at 83 years. For nearly half a century she was the stay and succour of the Presbyterian faith, in this vicinity. And permitted to live until the completion of the present Church edifice. She now rests in the first grave made in its precincts IN COMMEMORIATION WHERE OF and perpetuate an name HONORED for consistency of Christian Character AND LOVED for the tender virtues of domestic life this stone is raised BY HER CHILDREN."
