"FISHER.-Peacefully, on Tuesday, December 27, 1898, SOPHIA MARY PARNHAM MOXLEY, aged 91 years, less 5 days, widow of the late James Isom Fisher.
The relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services, at her late residence, No. 1701 Park avenue, on Thursday, December 29, at 3 P. M.

Mrs. Sophia Mary Parnham Fisher, widow of James Isom Fisher, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles D. Green, 1701 Park avenue. She was attacked by the grip last Saturday and owing to her advanced age was unable to battle successfully with the disease.
Mrs. Fisher was born at Greenwich, Va., on New-Year's Day, 1808, and was, therefore, within five days of being ninety-one years old. Her maiden name was Moxley. Mrs. Fisher came to Baltimore when a young girl, and after being educated here, made the city her home. She leaves two daughters-Mrs. Mary Wagner and Mrs. Charles D. Green-and one son-Mr. Richard D. Fisher, of the firm of Fisher & Shaw, bankers and brokers. A brother of the deceased, Dr. Mosley, lives at Greenwich. Mrs. Fisher was one of the oldest members of the First Presbyterian Church.
The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon and services will be conducted at the house by Rev. George L. Curtis, pastor of Park Presbyterian Church. The active pallbearers will be Messrs. James and Robert Fisher, James and Basil Wagner and Stanley Green, grandsons of the deceased, and Mr. Warren Crampton. Burial will be in Greenmount Cemetery."
