A graduate of Lowndes High School, Mrs. Wheeler is survived by her husband, Harry Alvin Wheeler; son, Aaron Justin Wheeler; her mother, Faye (Speer) Phillips; sister and brother-in-law, Ann & Tommy Bussey; nephew, Blair Bussey, all of Valdosta, GA; stepson, Leonard Alvin Wheeler; stepdaughter, Alicia Lee Wheeler, both of Homerville, GA, and many other relatives. She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Benjamin Wheeler; her father, Clarence Phillips, Jr., and brother, Larry Phillips. Interment followed funeral services conducted Friday, April 25, 2008.
