Wesley, 57, passed away at his home on Pine Top Farm as a result of pneumonia.

He was born to William Alexander 'Alex' and Sophia (Woolridge) Lansberry.

He married twice. His first wife was Mary Hamlin, who he survivied. His second marriage was to Gladys Dixon, who survived him at the residence.

Also surviving are four sons, Clarence, by his first marrage, Clearfield, Morris, Merle, Malvin, all home; a daughter, Maybelle 'Phyllis'; five brothers, Hollis, Johnstown, Dorris, DuBois, Harvey, Akron, Vernon, Warsaw, IN, and Harry, Patton; two sisters, Estella Montieth, Emeigh, and Dorothy Smeal, Clearfield.

He was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Mechanics, and Emmanuel M.E. Church of Clearfield.

His serene good humor and ever-merry salutation made him a host of friends wherever he went. His death will mean a very great loss to all who have known him and who have profited by his friendship.

Funeral services were at the Palestine Church, with Rev. Walter Young officiating and assisted by Rev M.S. Bittner and Rev P.T. Gorman.
