Lydia Harris, 94, of Weatherford died Thursday, May 29, 2008 in a local nursing facility. Born April 11, 1914 in Santo, she was a long time resident of Parker County. Lydia was a homemaker and a member of South Main Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting and was a loving and giving wife, mother and grandmother. Lydia was preceded in death by her husband, Hillary Harris, daughter, Mary Hoppes and her parents. She is survived by her daughters, Jimmie Ragle and husband Vernon of Weatherford and Tommie Ellis and husband Lewis Wayne of Springtown; son, Odis Harris and wife Gale of Aledo; 11 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Funeral service: 10:00 AM, Monday, June 2, 2008 at South Main Church of Christ with Minister Murphy Phillips officiating.
Interment: Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation: 2-4 PM, Sunday at the funeral home.
