Arthur L. Armantrout, 70, Bryant, died this morning at his home. He was an employee at Sheller- Globe for 42 years.
Born on January 20, 1910 in Jay County, he was the son of Martin and Lula Hoover Armantrout. He was married on November 5,1934 to Mildred Zook who survives.
Also surviving is a son John L. Armantrout, Newport, Wash.; four daughters, Mrs. Doyal (Jeanette) Merrill, Granger, Mrs. Don (Carol) Rogge, Humble, Texas, Mrs. Larry (Lorene) Langsdale, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Fredrick (Beth) Glessner, Geneva, one brother, Marion Armantrout, Bryant; two sisters, Mrs. Fern Tyndall, Portland, and Mrs. Doris Shepherd, Portland, and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Baird Freeman funeral Home, Portland.
