Catherina Crone was the daughter of John Philip, Sr. and Maria Elisabeth Crone. She married John Frederick Hake about 1785 in York County, PA. They had 11 children who are listed on his memorial page.

Sometime after 1830 when her husband John Frederick died, Catharina moved to Trumbull County, OH where many of her children lived.
