Noel Poteet, 58, of Leitchfield, died Dec. 2, 1985 at the Grayson County Hospital. / Mr. Poteet was a construction worker. He was born April 30, 1927 in Edmonson County, the son of James and Maude Browning Poteet, both deceased. / He is survived by his wife, Esther Miller Poteet; one son, Roger Poteet, of Leitchfield; two brothers, Walter of Leitchfield, and Edward, of Petersburg, Ill.; eight sisters, Eller Harp and Cleller Harp, of Bee Springs; Zella Stevenson, Ella Stevenson, Maggie McClure and Irene Kerr, of Leitchfield; Lillie Lile, of Louisville; and Frances McClure, of Richwood, W. Va. / Funeral services were held Dec. 4 at the Watkins Chapel in Leitchfield, Bro. Ernest Decker and Bro. George Miles officiating, with burial in the Scott Cemetery.
