Died Saturday, Nov. 30, 1985, in Beacham Memorial Hospital, Magnolia, Miss. He was 88, a native of Amite County and resident of McComb, Miss. He was a retired Illinois Central Railroad welder and a U.S. Army veteran of World War I.

Visiting at Catchings Funeral Home, McComb, 8 a.m. to religious services at 2 p.m. Sunday. Burial in Hollywood Cemetery, McComb.

Survived by wife, Louise Shillings [sic Lois Schilling] Nunnery, McComb; a son, Dr. Jack L. Nunnery, Magnolia; a daughter-in-law, Margaret Nunnery, Magnolia; a daughter, Jane Nunnery White, Clinton; a son-in-law, Lester White, Clinton; two sisters, Mrs. Marvin Mann, Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Mary Montero, New Orleans; three grandchildren, Bill Nunnery, Hattiesburg, Miss., Marie Nunnery Coleman, Magnolia, and Lee White, Clinton.

Preceded in death by a grandchild, Bob White; parents, Marshall and Maggie Moore Nunnery.

He was past commander of Harry Harvey Post, American Legion; a charter member of Dixie Devon Breeder Association; and Woodment of the World. He was a Baptist.
