Niles, Adanijah Conrad
On August 19, 1862 Adanijah enlisted in the Union Army, and became a soldier in Company C, 67th Regiment of the Pennsylvania Volunteers. He was killed at the 3rd battle of Winchester on September 19, 1864.
His remains are in a common grave at the battle site.
His parents put up a monument in his honor at the Baker Cemetery in Linn Co., Iowa where they are buried.
