Obituary for Roy William Vollbracht, Quincy Herald Whig, January 23, 1975:

Camp Point, Ill. - Roy W. Vollbracht, 80, of Camp Point, died Wednesday (Jan. 22, 1975) at 2 p.m. in a local nursing home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Lummis Funeral Home in Camp Point. The Rev. Clyde Snyder will officiate. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Camp Point.

Mr. Vollbracht was the former owner of Vollbracht Seed born Nov. 23, 1894, in Columbus Township, a son of William and Anna Omer Vollbracht. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Camp Point American Legion and was a former member of the Camp Point Volunteer Fire Department. He married Emma Hunter Oct. 30, 1917.

Surviving are the widow; two sons, Roy J. of Kansas City, Mo. and Richard of Quincy; a daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Cheryl) Burks of Little Rock, Ark.; a brother, Arthur of Barry; a sister, Mrs. Florence Courtney of Camp Point; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter.
