Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Bong, 82, will be held Monday from the Nothbohm Funeral home, Oconomowoc, to St. Jerome's Catholic church at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Gerald McGinnity will officiate, with interment in Holy Cross cemetery, Milwaukee.
Mrs. Bong died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Cleary, 140 Third st. Oconomowoc, after a long illness.
Born in St. Lawrence, Wis. March 18, 1861, the former Anna Sternemann married Anthony Schaefer in Baltimore, Md., in 1883. Following his death in 1888 she married Casimir Bong in Milwaukee, May 19, 1895. Mr. Bong died 21 years ago. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Bong is survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild."
