Mrs Viola Wyatt Copeland, wife of Haskell Copeland, died Tuesday about 4 a.m. at the Chamberlain Memorial Hospital, Rockwood. She was taken ill Monday afternoon and Drs E W Mitchell and V L Lewis took her to the hospital in the Bilbrey ambulance, remaining with her until the last. Death was from septic poisoning due to childbirth.
She is a daughter of Mrs A B Wyatt, widow of A B Wyatt who lived near Isoline. Her father died suddenly in the court house a few years ago.
The deceased is survived by her husband, her mother, 1 brother, Frank of Knoxville, and 2 sisters, one of whom arrived from Akron, Ohio Wednesday and the other was living at home.
Burial was at Plateau Wednesday at 10 o'clock.
