Calvin Coolidge Wyatt, 89, of Crossville, passed away June 3, 2014.
He was born July 6, 1924, in Cumberland County, the son of Alford Benjimin and Susie Tabor Wyatt. He worked many years in sales with Koppers. He worked for Tri-County for 18 years before becoming fully retired. He was also a member of Grace Community Church, as well as a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva Wyatt, of Crossville; son, Joel Bruce Wyatt and his wife, Carmon, of Crossville; daughters, Sue Pugh and her husband, Clifford, of Crossville; and Sandra Moore and her husband, Blaine, of Crossville; sister-in-law, Kathleen Wyatt of Crossville; grandchildren, Marshall Pugh and his wife, Kristie, Candace Moore, Brucene Vera and her husband, Juan, Adam Wyatt and Cady Kington; and great-grandchildren, Shelby Ryan Wyatt, Lindsey Pugh, Blake Pugh, Isabella Vera, Lorenzo Vera, Lucas Vera and Calvin Bruce Wyatt.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held June 6, 2014, at Grace Community Church. Burial was in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Bro. Dennis Daniels and Bro. Junior Pugh officiated with special music by Marshall Pugh and Brucene Vera.
Pallbearers were Eddie Cox, Vince Tabor, Donnie Tabor, Greg Tabor and Jimmy McDonald.
The family has respectfully asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Grace Community Church Youth Fund.
