Margaret Ellen (Oglesby) Twining was born May 8, 1850 to Levi Harvey and Elizabeth (Rollins) Oglesby in Big Springs, Logan County, Ohio. July 11, 1872 she was united in marriage to John Warner Twining at Galord's Grove, Cass County, Iowa. To this union were born six daughters: Sarah "Sally" Buckman Twining, Hannah Elizabeth Twining, Ada Fanny Twining, Mary Dulsena Twining, Eva Florence Twining and Minnie Augusta Twining. Margaret lies in peace in a grave in the Griswold Cemetery next to her son-in-law, William Henry Wright.
