JOHN WARNER TWINING
JOHN Warner Twining, was born July 28, 1833 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and died at Fellsburg, Kansas, December 28th, 1920, at the age of 82 years and 5 months.
In the year of 1873 he was married to Margaret Ellen Oglesbee. To this union were born is daughters, five of whom are living.: Sarah B. Oglesbee of Truro, Iowa, Mrs. Hannah Davis of Peru, Iowa, and Mrs. Ada Wright of Fellsburg, Kansas, with whom he was making his home since the death of Mrs. Twining in 1915.
Besides the children and grandchildren, he leaves one sister, Mrs. Martha McDowell of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Twining was a veteran of the Civil War, serving his country three years and one half, belonging to Company C, 102 Illinois.
The funeral washed in the United Brethren Church, Fellsburg. The sermon was preached by the pastor, Dr. T. W. Perks. Mr. A. A. Aupperle had charge of the singing.
