Herbert Edgar Churchill, was born Oct 6, 1875, Sioux Falls, Minnehaha, South Dakota. His parents were William Veloris Churchill and Mary E Minard. Herbert Edgar Churchill, of Isle Harbor township, who was accidently killed while working with a stump puller last Monday. He and his family moved to Mille Lacs county abt 2 years ago and settled on the Patterson farm, south of Isle. During that time Mr.Churchill has made many friends, who will be grieved to hear of his death. He leaves to mourn his loss, a wife and six daughters. Funeral services were conducted at the home Saturday, under the auspices of the Masonic lodge, of which he was a member. The remains were shipped to Kenyon, MN., and interred in the cemetery at that place Sunday. The bereaved relatives here the sympathy of the entire community. He married Ida Louise Hirdler Oct 15, 1896.
