Doris Roberta Conrad was born June 13, 1918. She was the daughter of Harley and Ethel Conrad. She had two younger sisters, Donnis and Betty Lou. On Nov. 22, 1939 she married Tommy Hogue. They lived in New Castle, Anderson, Tipton and Evansville Indiana during their marriage. They had two daughters, Karen and Pamela. Karen died in 1982. After Tommy died in 1989 Doris lived with her daughter in Texas and Arkansas. She died in Little Rock Arkansas on Feb. 10, 1998. She worked hard to keep a nice home and also helped her husband in his businesses.
In her family she was known as the family historian. She had a good memory and liked staying in touch with people.
She thought it was important to send Christmas and birthday cards and enjoyed receiving them.
She had a dry sense of humor and thought it was fun to know people's middle names. If they didn't have on she gave them one.
