ROLEK RITES ON FRIDAY


A retired U.S. Steel employee, Woyciech Rolek, died at his home, 8251 Buffalo Ave., Monday, following a lingering illness.


A native of Poland, he lived in this community for 53 years and was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Michael Church and St. Adalbert Society Group 142.


Survivors include his wife, Anna; four sons, John, Walter, Edward, and Michael; four daughters, Mrs. Catherine Janowski, Mrs. Helen Jendra, Mrs. Bernice Dobrzeniecki, and Mrs. Sophie Michaljevich; a brother, Jacob; 25 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.


Services will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. from the chapel at 83rd and S. Shore Dr. to St. Michael Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery,

Funeral Friday, Mar. 9, 1956, at 9:30 a.m. from Kuzniar & Son Funeral Home, 83rd and S. Shore Dr., to St. Michael Church where Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Member of Holy Name Society of St. Michael Church, and St. Adalbert Society Group 142.

Our sincere thanks and deepest appreciation is extended to all our relatives, friends, and neighbors whose thoughtfulness was so comforting during the loss of my dear husband, our father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, Woyciech Rolek. We especially wish to thank the Rev. fathers and organist of St. Michael Church, all attending societies, pallbearers, and the Kuzniar & Son Funeral Home. To each and every one for the floral tributes and spiritual bouquet offerings. The kindness of all will be held in grateful remembrance by Mrs. Anna Rolek and her family.
