Obituary
Nancy B. Tharp, daughter of A.B. and Irena Tharp, was born March 17, 1857 and died July 24, 1888 aged 31 years, 4 months, 7 days. She was married to James W. Ruble on September 27, 1875. She leaves 6 children, 2 sons, 4 daughters, one an infant (who died shortly thereafter). She was a Christian lady and fondly attached to her family, but she was fully consigned to her heavenly father, as said it being his will she was ready to go. The family sustained a great loss at her death, but they have the sympathy and help of kind friends. Sister Ruble was a member of the M.E. Church. Funeral services were held at the home, conducted by Rev. A.C. Gerard and the remains were interred at the Batson cemetery.
