Her first husband was a Quebecois named Henri Regis Duhaime (aka Richard Deuman). He died in Chippewa County, Michigan in about 1890. Mary and Henri had three girls together, Maggie, Ellen and Annie, all of whom went on to have families of their own. Then in 1891 she married James O'Brien and had three more daughters with him, and a boy who died at birth. Only one of those three daughters reached adulthood. Her name was Gertrude Holliday. She died in Southern California in 1971.
