Many of the older residents of the city will learn with deep regret of the death of Mrs. Annie Lee, widow of the late James Lee, aged 90 years. The late Mr. Lee at one time conducted a grocery business at Queen and Welland Avenue and when he passed on his widow ran the store for some time, later selling to Mr. Phelan. Death occurred at the family home 28 Welland Avenue last night. The deceased, who had been up and about the house until a few days ago, was in her earlier days an active worker in the Welland Avenue Church. One daughet, Miss Elizabeth, survives.
