LORRAINE THERIAULT KNOWLTON
WEST ENFIELD- Lorraine (Theriault) Knowlton, entered into eternal peace, March 7, 2008 surrounded by her family. She was born in Howland, June 20, 1935 the daughter of Layzime and Emily (Moreau) Theriault.
Lorraine retired after 30 years from Pratt and Whitney in the Blades and Veins Department. She loved to play cards and golf with her family and friends. She enjoyed her trips to Hollywood Slots and to Foxwood. The family would like to thank Hospice of Community Health and Counseling for the wonderful care and support.
She is survived by three children, Sharon Hintz and her husband Edward of Weatherford, CT; Gayle Knowlton and her partner Sarah of Tucson, AZ and Robert Knowlton and his wife Cris and their daughter Kasey of Farmington, CT; two sisters and a brother, Dolly Vanadestine, Nancy Harris and Reginald E. Theriault; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, James "Buster" Theriault; four sisters, Joann, Mildred. Pauline and Grace.
Private visiting hours for family will be on Monday, March 10, 2008 from 10:00 am to noon at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. A private Mass of Christian Burial for family will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday at St. Leo Catholic Church, Howland with the Rev. Leroy Landry presiding. A private graveside service for family will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at St. Thomas Cemtery, Southington, CT.
