MISS CAROLINE L. HEIMLICH
Miss Caroline Louise Heimlich, 51, of 711 Salem street, died at 7:30 a.m. Thursday at the Home hospital, after an extended illness. Born near Reynolds, she came to Lafayette in 1919 and for 20 years had been employed as timekeeper for the Monon railroad at the Salem street offices. She was an active member of St. James Lutheran church and its Young Ladies' Missionary society.
Surviving are her aged mother, Mrs. Robert Heimlich, with whom she lived; three sisters, Clara, at home, Mrs. Edwin Scholz and Mrs. Robert B. Koon, of La Porte, with two brothers, Fred J., of this city, and Herman R., of DeMotte.
Body at Soller-Baker funeral home after Friday noon, services there Saturday at 1:30 and at St. James church at 2, burial in the Reynolds Lutheran cemetery.
