Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Manifest Baptist Church with the Rev. J. O. McNair and the Rev. Larry Kennedy officiating. Burial followed at Heard Cemetery near Manifest under the direction of Kinner and
Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Oneta Heard of West Monroe, Miss Annabelle Arbuthnot of Manifest, and Miss Myrtis Arbuthnot of Alexandria; two sons, C. D. Arbuthnot of Rhinehart and Colonel George S. Arbuthnot with the U. S. Air Force in Verborg, Denmark; one sister, Mrs. Alice Brew of Silver Springs, Md.; and five grandchildren.
