Coma Leta Lambert, 82, of Floral, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 in Searcy AR. She was born on May 23, 1925 in Parkin, AR to John Melvin and Edith Adora

Leta was of the Church of Christ faith, and she enjoyed fishing, gardening, macramé, cooking and baking.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward Marion Lambert, two sisters Rosemary Baker and Norma Jean Knight, and one -great-grandson Zachary Cousins.

She is survived by six sons, David Lambert of Tehachapi, CA, Larry Lambert of New Jersey, Donald Lambert of Mayflower, Ar, Ronnie Lambert of Bakersfield, CA, Dale Lambert of Searcy, AR, and Thomas Lambert of North Little Rock, AR; two daughters, Brenda Morgan of Bald Knob, and Karen Thomas of Floral; four brothers, Leo Martin of Floral, Calvin Martin of Kansas City, MO, Roy Dean Martin of Floral, and Joe Martin of Bakersfield, CA; one sister, Vernell of Sacramento, CA ; twenty grandchildren and thirty-seven great grandchildren.

Services are 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2008 at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Plains, with George Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Thomas, Josh Gay, Larry Lambert, Don Lambert, Thomas Lambert, and Earl Cousins, with Dale Lambert serving as an Honorary Pallbearer.

Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville.
