Charles L. Martin, age 76, of Floral died Wednesday, January 9, 2012 in a local hospital. He was born September 23, 1936 in Pleasant Plains, the son of John Martin and Edith Johnson Martin. He was of the Baptist faith.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Loraine Martin; a son, Johnny Martin; a daughter, Kathy Ramsey; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and a grandson, Kevin Shelton.
Survivors include 3 daughters: Debra Shelton of Bakersfield, CA, Nancy Wagster of Floral, Leisa Sharp of Floral; a brother, Roy Martin of Floral; a sister, Bernell Bunnell of Rio Linda, CA; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
Graveside services are set for 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 13, 2012 at Union Grove Cemetery under the direction of Willis Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be all the grandsons.
