PARTRIDGE Robert Arthur, 95, of Shinglehouse, PA and a former longtime resident of Coudersport, PA, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008, in Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital, Buffalo, NY, after suffering a severe stroke on Sunday in his home. Born December 9, 1912 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was a son of Arthur and Lillian Bender Partridge. On September 12, 1942 in Coudersport, PA, he married Helen Margaret Schneible who died on January 12, 1971. On June 14, 1975 in Portville, NY, he married Carolyn M. Dinger, who survives. He was a 1930 graduate of Elder High School in Cincinnati. He received his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering in 1934 from the University of Cincinnati where he also received his Master's degree in chemical engineering in 1935. Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Scott F. (Lynnae) Partridge of Houston, Texas and Richard Steven Partridge of Boulder, Colorado; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Milton (Joy) Partridge of Cincinnati, Ohio; four sisters, Dorothy Weber of Gainesville, Florida, Ruth Keller, Helen Trierweiler, and Mary (Howard) Osterkamp, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Ray Brueggemeyer of Cincinnati, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and first wife, Mr. Partridge was predeceased by a son, Kenneth P. Partridge; and a sister, Betty Brueggemeyer A memorial Mass will be celebrated Monday in St. William's Catholic Church at W. 8th St. & Sunset Ave. at 1:15 PM. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Cincinnati. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Elder High School.
