Services for Helen G. Dean, 70, of Jonesville, who died Friday, April 21, 2000, in Alexandria, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Young's Funeral Home with the Revs. Mitchel Norman and Bill Billings officiating.
Burial will be at Heard Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Jonesville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dean was born Aug. 21, 1929, in Selma, Ala. [sic La.]
She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Dean.
Survivors include her mother, Hattie Billings of Trout; two sons, Dennis A. Dean of Redwood, Calif., and Thomas M. Dean of Jonesville; a daughter, Terry Brazell of Jonesville; four brothers, Bennie Billings of Lake Charles, Max Billings and Jimmy Billings, both of Trout, and Bruce Billings of Colfax; three sisters, Genell Russell and Brenda Ford of Trout and Donna McKenzie of Neterland [sic Nederland], Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
