Henry Joseph Gilbert, 65, died at the family home early Saturday morning after a protracted illness. He was a painter and decorator by trade and a life long resident of Ogdensburg. He was born April 28, 1861, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Gilbert, pioneer settlers of Ogdensburg.

Interment will be made in the family plot in Notre Dame cemetery.
