Ella L. Montpetit, 89, formerly of Oak Street, died Friday night at St. Joseph's Nursing Home, where she had lived since 1985.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the McLellan Funeral Home with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. at Notre Dame Church. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
Calling hours will be this afternoon and evening at the funeral home.
Surviving are two sons, two daughters, two sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Louise) Bouchard, Ogdensburg, and Aletha Hella, Charlotte, Vt.; seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A sister, Mrs. Harriet Bell, and three brothers, Walter, Roy and Leo Gilbert, died before her.
Born in Ogdensburg on Sept. 21, 1902, a daughter of Walter and Louise Amo Gilbert , she attended local schools. She married John B. Montpetit on Nov. 29, 1924. He died Dec. 25, 1987.
She worked for several years at Standard Shade Roller and Acco Co. She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church.
