Mrs. Louise A. Gilbert, wife of Patrolman Walter P. Gilbert, died at her home Sunday morning from cancer. Mrs. Gilbert was 42 years old. Mrs. Gilbert was born in Ogdensburg, the daughter of the late George W. and Mrs. Louisa Racine Amo.

Interment was in the family plot at Notre Dame cemetery.
