Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Salina for Eugene R. Herl, 44, who died Sunday. Herl moved to Salina 12 years ago. He was born in Antonino.
Surviving are his widow, Georgina; four sons, Ronald, Dennis, Russell, Phillip; and a daughter, Brenda, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Fidelis Phannenstiel, Antonino; four brothers, Wilfred, Great Bend; Wendelin, Salina; Harold, Clovis, N.M.; Wayne, Salina; three sisters, Mrs. Viola Schmidt, Hedville; Mrs. Edna Sounders, Salina; and Mrs. Freda Winters, Olathe.
