Funeral Services for Tiffin Resident to Be Held Friday
Mrs. Agnes Dawson Reynolds, 93, resident of Johnson county most all her life, died at 3:55 a.m. today at her home in Tiffin after an illness of about two weeks.
Mrs. Reynolds was born at Uniontown, Pennsylvania, March 17, 1855, the daughter of James and Elizabeth Beeson Dawson and came as an infant with her parents to a farm in Madison township near the old community of Greencastle.
In 1872 she moved with her parents to Kansas, and in 1899 she was married to Charles T. Reynolds of Tiffin. Mr. Reynolds died January 15, 1931. Three sons, Carl, James and Ray also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 Friday at the Oathout Funeral chapel in Iowa City, with the Rev. Arthur Brent officiating. Burial will be at the Tiffin cemetery.
