Darlene Reynolds Taylor, formerly of Brady, peacefully passed away on August 11, 2023, at her home in Comanche. Darlene was born on March 26, 1954 in Austin, to Edna and Robert Lee (Bob) Myers, Jr.


She was a former employee of the City of Brady for many years. Darlene was an avid reader who found joy in crocheting, knitting and sewing. She cherished moments sitting on her porch, observing the birds and flowers. She enjoyed time in her garden and being with her two dachshunds.


Darlene is survived by her loving husband, Rick Taylor; son Michael and his wife, Bella Reynolds, along with their children Timothy, Joshua, Cassady, Savanah, Vanessa, Reagan, Taylor, Grace, Faith, and their 3 grandchildren; daughters Jessica Reynolds Foster and husband David, with their children Alexander, Nicholas, and Nathan Foster; Amanda Reynolds and son, Dusty, and a step-son, Cody Taylor.


She is also survived by her two brothers, Robert Lee Myers III and Dwight Myers, and two sisters, Ida Owens and Glory Stafford, and their families.


Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, and her first husband, James Reynolds.


A memorial service to celebrate Darlene's life and inurnment will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady on March 16, at 2 p.m.
