SHOTGUN ACCIDENT KILLS LOUISVILLIAN - A 51-year-old Louisville man was killed in a hunting accident Saturday at St. Mary, Ky., when he slipped on an embankment, causing his shotgun to discharge. Marion County Coroner John Wathen said Bennett Cecil Jr., 1102 English Ave., died about 11:45 a.m. of a gunshot wound in the chest. Cecil was hunting on property adjoining his brother's farm in St. Mary when the accident occurred, police said. He was retired from the Navy. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Bickett Cecil; two sons, Bennett D. Cecil III and Michael Cecil, and a daughter, Miss Susan Cecil, all of Louisville. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow in St. Charles Catholic Church at St. Mary. The body will be at the Bosley Funeral Home in Lebanon, Ky. today.
