William Shearer, 67, of Lebanon Road, Perryville, died Thursday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 11, 1940, in Garrard County, he was a son of the late Omer and Effie Harp Shearer. He was a retired carpenter and an avid hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Alicia Shearer of Perryville; a son, Darrell Shearer of Danville; three daughters, Sheyenne Hurt, Danielle Hurt and Cara Henry, all of Perryville; a brother, Omer Shearer Jr. of Stanford; and two sisters, Marie Whitehouse of Danville and Christine Rutledge of Cincinnati, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Talley Shearer; and a son, William "Billy" Shearer Jr.
Services will be noon Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be James Whitehouse, Clinton Walker, Michael Parker, Chris Snow, Shannon Snow and Sherman Coleman. Honorary pallbearers will be Buck, Don and Ronnie Sawyer.
